Saflink has been a leader in developing identity verification solutions for over three decades

For over 35 years, Saflink has helped top tier U.S. government organizations such as the Department of Defense develop smart card and biometric security systems.

In addition, Saflink developed the first generation biometrics standard—an important milestone in establishing worldwide standards for biometric security. Saflink vice chairs the current BioAPI standards committee—along with the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) and the National Security Agency (NSA).
 
Today, Saflink is making the same identity verification software and hardware it has developed to secure our nation’s most critical assets and infrastructure available to the private sector.
