SAFsolution ® Enterprise Edition is enterprise-grade security software that replaces Windows ® passwords with biometric authentication, the most reliable and convenient form of security on the market.

Features include:

• Secure Authentication – SAFsolution fully integrates with Windows operating system logon security, allowing fingerprints or iris recognition to be used in place of Windows passwords for logging on to workstations and/or the network.
• Seamless Active Directory Integration – No need to learn new interfaces; administrators manage and enforce business security policies using their existing Active Directory infrastructure or Active Directory Application Mode (ADAM). Integrates into the Active Directory Users and Computers MMC for ease of administration and leverages the Active Directory administrative model to enforce policies for biometrics.
• Complete Auditing Trail –Leverages Windows audit events so existing network monitoring tools can scrutinize user identity and logon activity.
• Remote Connectivity – biometrically authenticate over remote sessions with SAFremote Authenticator™, an add-on product that enables strong authentication over Citrix ® MetaFrame ®, Windows Terminal Services, and XP Remote Desktop sessions.
• Non-Proprietary –SAFsolution provides flexibility by supporting biometric technologies, such as fingerprint and iris recognition, through adherence to open industry standards. SAFsolution complies with both BioAPI and HA-API strong authentication standards. This non-proprietary approach gives customers the freedom to choose between biometric technologies and select from a broad range of biometric hardware devices.
• Multiple Logon Options – SAFsolution offers a variety of logon options:
  • Fast Login™ – Allows instant workstation access using biometrics. This feature bypasses the user credentials screen, eliminating the need for users to type in their username, domain, or password. User identity is determined and assured with the swipe of a finger or scan of an iris. Even works when multiple people share the same PC.
  • Disconnected Logon – Biometrically protects local workstations whether connected to a network or not. Users have the same logon experience whether they are in or out of the office. A key feature for laptop users, providing security and convenience when on the road.
  • User Authority Delegation™ – Allows assistants and generic account end-users to biometrically log on using another authorized identity, providing essential audit and administrator controls not possible through password sharing.
• Single Sign-On – Frequently deployed with single sign-on solutions from companies like Passlogix, HealthCast, Sentillion, Protocom, and Citrix
• Enrollment Rollout Flexibility – Choose the best enrollment approach for your enterprise and user population. Supervise enrollments using administrator-only tools, elect to have users self-enroll at logon, or allow users to try out biometrics with the Practice Utility wizard.
