How to remove SAFsolution Enteprise licenses from Active Directory

This article describes the process for removing the SSE license object data, in preparation for a new installation of SSE.

INFORMATION
SAFsolution Enterprise stores licenses in an Active Directory object. If you need to remove the currently installed licenses on your SAFsolution Server, you must use the ADSI Edit support tool included in the Windows 2000 Server CD.
Install the Windows 2000 Support Tools
1. Insert the Windows 2000 Server CD and browse to the \SUPPORT\TOOLS folder.
2. Double-click on SETUP.EXE and follow the screen prompts, choosing a 'Typical' install and all default settings.
Use ADSI Edit to locate and delete the license object
1. Open the ADSI Edit tool by going to Start\Programs\Windows 2000 Support Tools\Tools.
2. Browse to the Configuration Container for the specific domain controller.
3. Select the Saflink container (CN=Saflink).
4. Right-click the License object and select Delete.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
All installed licenses are included within a single object. The above procedure will remove ALL licenses.
