SAFauthenticator
Style Number: SAF-S-VGO-WNI
v-GO is a Single Sign-on (SSO) application provided by
Passlogix Corporation. The SAFauthenticator component
replaces the password authentication for the v-GO user
with a biometric capture and verification.

Requirements ====================================================
1) A Saflink Client must be installed and
configured correctly before installing SAFauthenticator
See Saflink's Web site for current compatiable products.
2) Passlogix V-go version 3.0 or Version 4.0x.
(NOTE: If running version version 4.0x v-GO YOU MUST
use build 120 or greater of the SAFAuthenticator for v-GO. Previous
revisions of the Authenticator are NOT compatible with v-GO 4.0)
3) Ensure that you have applied all product patches for Passlogix V-GO 4.0.

Installation ====================================================
1) Login to the local machine as an administrator
2) Insert SAFauthenticator for Passlogix v-Go CD
3) Browse to the local cd rom drive
4) Run SAFvGO.exe file
5) Follow on screen installer prompts

Setting up SAFauthenticator for Passlogix v-Go
for a first time v-Go user.
1) Log into the client with a biometrically
authenticated user *v-GO will auto load
2) Select Next to start the registration and setup process
3) Select Next to choose a v-Go authenticator
4) Select SAFauthenticator in the drop down menu and select next
*Note - You may be prompted for re-verification if you are
past the auto login time limit.

for existing v-Go users.
1) Right-click the v-Go icon in the system tray
2) Select Authenticator Manager
3) Select the Change button
4) Select next
*Note - You will be prompted to verify using
your existing authenticator
5) Select SAFauthenticator
6) Verify your biometric
7) Select Finish

Changing the Default auto login time limit
1) Login the local machine with administrator rights
2) Open the registry editor
3) Browse to
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Saflink Corporation\SAFmodule Client]
"TimeWindow"=dword:00000078
4) Modify the time window D-value
5) Enter desired time in seconds
(Be careful not to use hexidecimal values)
