Installing SAFaccess 1.4 Client with eTrust SSO Client 7.0.1

INFORMATION
The following installation instructions are a supplement to the SAFaccess 1.4 Administration Guide. These instructions address performing an installation of the SAFaccess 1.4 Client with the eTrust SSO Client 7.0.1.
An installation of the SAFaccess 1.4 Client is possible without the display of any error messages. However, when running the eTrust SSO Client, the Saflink page will not appear. The following steps are necessary to make the Saflink page appear.
SOLUTION
Two modifications to the Client's .ini file are required. Typically, the .ini file is located in the following directory:
C:\Program Files\CA\eTrust SSO\Client\SsoClnt.ini
This assumes the default directory is the chosen location during the eTrust SSO Client installation.
1. In each ServerSet, modify the [i:70d319a1c0]AuthMethods=[/i:70d319a1c0] line to add
[i:70d319a1c0][SAFLNK] + [a space][/i:70d319a1c0], so that it states [i:70d319a1c0]AuthMethods=SAFLNK SSO[/i:70d319a1c0].
Note: Type [i:70d319a1c0]SAFLNK[/i:70d319a1c0] in all caps and remember to omit the letter I.
2. In each ServerSet, add the line [i:70d319a1c0]AuthSAFLNK=server[/i:70d319a1c0] where [i:70d319a1c0]server[/i:70d319a1c0] is the actual name of the machine hosting the SAFaccess Server component.

Note: In the example, the original .ini file only uses SSO for authentication. Also, the above example assumes the SAFaccess server is installed on the same machine hosting the eTrust server (thus sharing the same server name).
Performing these edits will replace the eTrust Single Sign-On (SSO) page with the Saflink login page.
