Size limitations for CAC.adm for Windows 98 Policy does not support Update certificate length

Issue / Problem:
NetSign CAC offers the convenience of using the Windows MMC GUI console to configure NetSign CAC policies using the CAC.adm file included with the NetSign CAC Software. One limitation of this feature is found when configuring the Win98 policy with Manual Update or AutoUpdate. Specifically if the CAC.adm is configured to setup and push the NetSign CAC Auto Update policy settings it will fail to update the Windows 98 client. The reason for this problem is due to limitations of the CAC.adm policy editor to handle large bytes of data with the Windows 98 Policy editor. The result is that not all of the certificate hash is inserted into the box for AutoUpdate Certificate and thus will not function properly.
Solution:
Updates for Windows 9x require manual (non-pushed) client installations.
