What are the Software Requirements for using NetSign CAC?
Solution:
1. Windows 95, 98, NT 4.0 (SP4 or later), 2000, or XP1
2. Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.5 or higher
(While S/MIME email support is not a system requirement of NetSign CAC, S/MIME email support does require Outlook 98, Outlook 2000, Outlook Express, or Netscape Communicator (4.73 through 4.79, 128-bit). These are supported by NetSign CAC.
1 Note: Windows 2000 Server or Windows 2000 Advanced Server is required for configuring Windows 2000 Logon. Windows 2000 Logon is only supported on Windows 2000 and Windows XP clients.
